The Quad Cities Woodturners Club is a group of woodturners from the eastern Iowa and northwestern Illinois area. We are meeting virtually during the COVID-19 Crisis The club’s purpose is to foster a wider understanding and appreciation of lathe turning as a traditional and contemporary craft and a form of art among the general public, hobbyist turners, part-time turners, and professional turners of the geographical area which it serves; and, to teach safety and turning techniques to adults and youth via monthly meetings, articles, symposiums, public demonstrations, and private lessons.
