The San AntonioMexico Friendship Council SAMFCO is an organization started 20 years ago by then Consul General of Mexico Carlos Sada now Undersecretary for North American Affairs at SRE. SAMFCO was established in 1996 as a notforprofit dedicated to strengthening and promoting the cultural ties shared by the citizens of San Antonio and Mexico and supporting the activities of the Mexican Consulate in San Antonio. The organization hosts charitable cultural educational and literary events.
