The reconstruction of the Ancient Palace of Ugbe is a positive step towards restoring a historical edifice and the artifacts as well as creating an avenue for the public and tourists to learn the history of the people of OnichaOlona and Anioma in relation with the Ancient Benin Empire in Nigeria. All Lovers of History and all wellmeaning individuals corporations and organizations are invited to join hands in sponsoring the effort to bring an ancient Palace back to life for the sake of posterity and for preservation of history and artifacts. BRIEF HISTORICAL BACKGROUND OF THIS PROJECTThe ancient palace of Oba Ugbe was built in 1505 AD by Prince Orhogbua and his brother Prince Ugbe when they established the settlement of the Ancient Warriors.
