This Saturday, May 17 from 1-4PM, you are invited to participate in free plant-based activities at @bronxmuseum inspired by artist @marymattingly’s installation ‘Rooted’ (2024), currently on view in the ‘Working Knowledge’ exhibition 🌱 Learn more about and RSVP to the plant activities and other fun programs taking place on Saturday via the link in @bronxmuseum’s bio 🔗 The plant activities will be led by artist Kim Darling - who collaborated with @marymattingly on Mattingly’s 2016 - 2020 project ‘Swale,’ a floating community garden in NYC (swipe to the final slide to see an image). On Saturday, Darling will invite people to engage their sense of smell with aromatic plants, make a botanical print to take home, and share stories about plants, and ideas for plants you’d like to grow at home or in your community 🪴 See you there.
