Sarasota Alliance For Historic Preservation Inc
The Sarasota Alliance for Historic Preservation uses policy advocacy, technical expertise and public engagement to protect Sarasota County's historic neighborhoods and buildings. Our goal is to slow the loss of our fast-growing region's historic character. To do that, we offer innovative and practical solutions like a revolving fund that helps historic property owners of modest means maintain and preserve their properties. We also run a historic preservation easement program that enables homeowners to voluntarily protect their homes into the future. And we publish a regional Six to Save list every year spotlighting historic buildings at risk of being lost.
