TROOT TROOT ROOTED IN THE COMMUNITY Troot is a 501c3 nonprofit on a mission to create a positive environmental impact planting trees while deepening the roots of Los Angeles communities through our tree adoptions. How it works WE FIND A SPACE IN NEED OF TREES WE WORK WITH THE CITY FOR PERMITS APPROVAL THE TREES ARE DONATED PLANTED WE PUT THE TREES UP FOR ADOPTION. Through our community engagement and outreach each tree is adopted by neighbors in the surrounding area. Adopting a tree is simply a commitment to watering the tree weekly.
