Upward Inertia - Conscious Empowerment Through Yoga Therapy Inspiring Conscious empowerment in Idahos underserved communities through movement mindfulness based education. Our Programs Through a combination of occupational therapy therapeutic yoga and mindfulness practices Upward Inertia seeks to serve those individuals who would benefit profoundly but who might not have access to the yoga and wellness education. Among other benefits therapeutic yoga address movement quality strength balance coping strategies emotional regulation selfawareness and pain management. Upward Inertia is actively conducting research to determine the most effective intervention methods for our participants and has already been published in a case study identifying the effects of yoga therapy post stroke.
