EDUCATION-PLUS, INC. WAS FORMED IN IDAHO IN 1982 FOR EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES, TO OPERATE NONPROFIT SUPPLEMENTAL TESTING, ASSESSMENT, AND TUTORING FOR STUDENTS WITH LEARNING DIFFERENCES. IN 2009, EDUCATION PLUS EXPANDED ITS REACH TO PENNSYLVANIA, TO ADDRESS THE INTERSECTION OF LIMITED ACCESS TO QUALITY HEALTH CARE AND EDUCATION. TODAY EDUCATION-PLUS, INC. IN PA SERVES MORE THAN 7,000 INDIVIDUALS TO IMPROVE EDUCATION AND HEALTH OUTCOMES, THROUGH SCHOOL BASED HEALTH CENTERS, AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMMING AND POST-SECONDARY ACCESS THROUGH PARTNERSHIP WITH PHILADELPHIA COMMUNITIES AND HARCUM COLLEGE.
