Alsea Valley Gleaners
The mission of Alsea Valley Gleaners is to plan, develop, and administer programs in coordination with partner organizations to support low-income, disabled, and elderly Alsea Valley community members. Our primary focus is creating food security, increasing health and wellness, and fostering community. We fulfill this mission by receiving and distributing donated food and household goods weekly at our distribution site in Alsea to over 68 member households. We also respond to opportunities to gather food by bringing our members to seasonal gleans in the area.
