San Geronimo Valley Planning Group Protectingand enhancing our natural resources and rural character since 1972 Look around you. Its hard to believe that until the 1970s there was no county public open space or public trails in the San Geronimo Valley. Luckily the environmental movement of this period produced local leaders who organized the San Geronimo Valley Planning Group. They created a survey that led to the first Community Plan in the County in 1977.
