Economic Justice Coalition To educate advocate and organize for quality jobs with living wages and benefits Educating advocating organizing for quality jobs with living wages and benefits The Economic Justice Coalition is a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Athens Georgia The Workers Center at EJC Our Mission Our mission is to educate advocate and organize for quality jobs with living wages and benefits with an explicit commitment to build worker power within BIPOC communities in Northeast Georgia. We accomplish this through voter registration civic engagement case management for workplace grievances incubating cooperativelyowned businesses and collective action to support organizing workers. By empowering workers to connect their workingconditions and livingconditions directly to the policy and legislation impacting them we are bringing about positive change in our communities. Civic Engagement Voter Registration Our team of canvassers has a direct bootsontheground approach to registering voters helping registered voters update their information and educating voters on the issues that are important to all of the candidates running in races from the local races in their hometowns to the national races.
