Treasure Valley Therapy Dogs is dedicated to enriching the quality of life by providing pet assisted therapy and educational opportunities to those in the Treasure Valley of Idaho. Our three programs consist of: 1) Pet Assisted Therapy program, offering certified therapy dog teams to visit hospitals, behavioral health, assisted living, schools, libraries and hospice to provide the healing comfort of a therapy dog. Our teams are also able to work in conjunction with physical therapy departments to aid in patient recovery. 2) Humane Education program which educates children and adults in responsible dog ownership as well as safety around dogs. 3) Community Events program supports other community events, with certified therapy teams attending to provide comfort and education.
