Project Hollywood Cares Inc

Project: Hollywood Cares is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit charitable organization which is supported by concerned citizens, veterans, volunteers and entertainment industry professionals. Our threefold mission is to first boost the morale, express gratitude and support America's military personnel deployed around the globe by distributing the products of the entertainment industry. Support boxes include DVDs, videotapes, music CDs, video games, entertainment T-shirts, telephone calling cards, Starbucks coffee and supportive letters of appreciation from concerned citizens. Boxes sent to female soldiers are personalized with golf hats and cosmetic products suited for desert conditions. Presently, we can provide complete unit/command support thru what we call our "library effect". Secondly, larger packages are sent or personally delivered to wounded servicemen and women rehabilitating in military hospitals; - providing our injured heroes with tangible evidence that their personal sacrifice is appreciated and revered by a grateful nation. Visits and special events to assist and support all the returning hospitalized patients and veterans. Finally, our third mission is to send or personally present carefully selected gift boxes, complete with children's programs and numerous gifts, to the surviving spouse and children of fallen heroes lost in Operations Iraqi or Enduring Freedom. This important supportive and compassionate mission is deemed to be the very least a caring nation and concerned industry can provide to American families who have sacrificed so greatly.
