A strong public library system is the foundation upon which a community builds for the future. The Humboldt Library Foundation rallies support across our diverse county to enhance programs and learning opportunities in the Humboldt County Library System. The Foundation’s vision is to open the world of possibilities that can be found at the local library, so that every person builds a relationship with learning and libraries that lasts a lifetime. Our mission is to raise funds and make grants to the library that are used to: improve the quality of library services countywide; expand the use of technology; sponsor cultural and educational offerings.

And at HLF we are inspired to help open the world of the library for kids and families for lifelong learners for anyone who wants to reach for the treasures that lie within. We are thrilled to be a part of the magic of learning the thrill of discovery that lights up the face of a young reader or for the teen finding the latest graphic novel. Youve felt it too finding a new author or exploring a new genre or the simple pleasure of listening to a down loadable audio book.
