New TShirts and Hats Available. Womens Short Sleeve TShirt The Derek Teele Foundation was established when Derek lost his life in a car accident on May 4 2007 at the age of 17. Initially the foundation was funded by donations from friends and family. Since Dereks death an official nonprofit foundation was established and funds have been raised through community events such as an annual golf tournament corn hole tournaments and various local restaurant events.
