The Kern County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse stands tall and rides proud as we commit to raising funds to assist deserving organizations throughout Kern County. The Posse’s focus is in the area of child welfare specifically benefiting physically and mentally challenged children. The Sheriff’s Posse is best known for its high profile in parades and rodeos, while promoting skillful, safe, and effective horsemanship. Members also perform many fundraisers throughout the year to enrich the lives of many children in our community.
