Thayer Family Foundation
The Thayer Family Foundation was established in honor of our father, the late Brigadier General James Thayer, a widely respected leader in Oregons business, philanthropic, and political communities; from whom we inherited a set of shared values and beliefs founded on relationships and trust. The Foundation was formed to fund and support the needs of Oregon veterans, military personnel, and first responders, but also those dedicated to societal and culturally significant fields such as educators, musicians, and artists. Each year we will focus on a specific way of Celebrating Service and Inspiring Hope.
