The Lake George Association and its members support water quality protection, water quality monitoring, and education programs that benefit our watershed. Founded in 1885, the Lake George Association exists to protect Lake George water quality. The Lake George Association (LGA) is dedicated to the enduring protection of Lake George water quality, achieved through science-guided action, education, advocacy, and productive partnerships. The LGA, founded in 1885 is the oldest lake preservation organization in the country.
