We are so proud of our 2025 emerging artists, The Terra String Quartet! So many saw them at our March 9 concert this year and for our Spring Community Outreach where they shared news of the upcoming Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition they would soon be competing in. During our concert yesterday, the news came. TSQ won second prize and the Britten Pears Young Artist Programme Prize. Take a bow, Harriet, Amelia, Chih-Ta and Audrey. Who said one must go to the big city to see the best performers? It's likely that it wasn't a member of the Essex Winter Series audience. (fb)

Essex Winter Series Brings Jazz to New London Schools Dec 20 2024 New London Community Outreach in December 2024 featuring Jeff Barnhart and 6 jazz musicians who entertained and educated third fourth and fifth graders about their instruments and the history of jazz.
