We are a membership organization dedicated to excellence in television by honoring exceptional work with the prestigious Emmy® Award. The Rocky Mountain Emmy Foundation is dedicated to providing educational opportunities, encouragement and financial support to the next generations of broadcasters, journalists and digital media creators in our region. To that end, we are supporting students with scholarships at Arizona State University, The University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, Utah State University, The University of New Mexico, Arizona Western College and with the Douglas W. Mummert Community Service Scholarship.

Professional peers in other NATAS Chapters judge our Chapters entries. In return Rocky Mountain Southwest peer professionals judge entries from other Chapters. We have 10 judging opportunities from FebruaryOctoberNovember 2025.
