The Center for Asia Pacific Strategy (CAPS) is founded on the belief that in today’s global political landscape there is a genuine need for highly qualified and experience-based political insight that specializes in the Asia Pacific region of the world. We provide leaders within the United States government, military and defense-related agencies, and the private sector with current information and pragmatic policy recommendations that address present and future threats to security and stability across the Asia Pacific region. CAPS formulates practical and achievable policy proposals developed by our team of academic, diplomatic and military experts with decades of "field experience" in the Asia Pacific region.
