InspireLit is a nonprofit organization based in the United States, focused on promoting literacy and inspiring a love of reading among children. The organization was founded in 2016 by Jen Kenealy and Erica Joseph Jones, who are both moms and educators passionate about literature and children's education.
Mission
The mission of InspireLit is to inspire a love of reading and promote literacy by increasing access to engaging books. This is achieved through the provision of curated collections of new and gently used books donated by the community. As of recent reports, InspireLit has shared over 126,000 books across Alexandria, Virginia.
Vision
InspireLit envisions a community where all children have equitable access to books and experience the joy of reading. Model
The InspireLit model combines three key strategies:

- Collaboration with Reading Role Models: Working with various reading role models to foster interest in reading.
- Family Outreach: Promoting literacy through outreach programs that involve families.
Impact
