Green Valley Recreation Hiking Club – Dedicated to safe and enjoyable hiking Green Valley Recreation Hiking Club Dedicated to safe and enjoyable hiking Welcome to the Green Valley Recreation Hiking Club The Green Valley Recreation Hiking Club GVRHC began in 1981 and was officially sanctioned by GVR in 1984. Every Thursday members hike in the beautiful sky islands valleys and deserts of Southern Arizona. Our club offers hikes of varied terrain and elevation and provides opportunities to learn about the history flora and fauna of the region. Experienced hike leaders conduct every hike and are aided by assistant leaders.
