Each year thousands are put to death due to lack of space and/or potential adopters. We do not plan to be just another shelter, saving as many animals as we can. We can provide the missing link; a way to get these pets to cooler climates up north where they do not struggle with an overpopulation of strays. We also have plans for these pets in the meantime while they are awaiting adoption (which we know may be a long time). Dogs at risk of euthanasia will be rescued and socialized to be the best companions for a multitude of purposes, the most important being improving the quality of life for all who interact with them whether short or long term.
