REAP: Reading is Essential for All People 68% of Georgia 4th graders can't read proficiently. 39% can't read at a basic level. REAP is a non-profit corporation dedicated to fighting this child illiteracy epidemic by training public school teachers in Structured Literacy. We unlock each child's potential by training teachers to successfully teach all students how to read. This kind of instruction is helpful for any child, in any classroom, small group, or one-on-one situation, and is especially critical for struggling readers. We believe reading is a civil right!
