The mission of the BayArea Chorus is to enrich the Houston and Galveston Bay Area through thepowerfully expressive eloquence of choral musicGoals1. To provide educational outreach for audiences, chorus members andthe local student community through the study and performance of variedstyles of choral music, including both contemporary and classical.2. To provide the opportunity for singers in the community toparticipate in the preparation and performance of choral music of highquality.3. To demonstrate the continuity between student and adult performanceopportunities by inviting area youth to participate in concerts.4. To provide scholarships for the study and performance of choral music.5. To co-sponsor a summer music camp for children in the community.
