The Here to Stay Community Land Trust provides affordable homeownership opportunities to families being displaced from Chicago's northwest side due to gentrification. Here to Stay provides a vehicle to retain Latinx and African American low- to moderate-income families via affordable homeownership and rental housing through preservation of existing housing stock. Our vision is to close the racial wealth gap by building generational wealth. As catalytic investment caters to whiter, wealthier households, Here to Stay ensures that long-term residents can remain and thrive as economic opportunity continues to grow.
