YOUNG COMMUNITY DEVELOPERS
We aim to break the cycle of poverty! Since 1973, Young Community Developers (YCD) has served San Francisco’s most marginalized and under resourced communities in which meeting primary needs is an inherent and ongoing struggle. Originally established as a workforce development agency, YCD has grown along with San Francisco’s Bayview-Hunters Point Community. Today, we offer a variety of programs and services that provides support within the following categories: - Transitional Age Youth - Adult & Family - Re-entry - Housing YCD takes a holistic approach via a delivery ecosystem of services designed to empower residents of all ages in achieving economic mobility.Services are within these areas of focus: - Personal & Professional Development - Financial Security - Health & Wellness - Housing - Community Advocacy
