Southold Yacht Club Inc

History

Founded in the early 1930s by a group of young sailors, the Southold Yacht Club was formally organized in 1938. Initially, the club used the town wharf at Founders Landing for events and races. In 1948, a permanent clubhouse was opened at Paradise Point but was later relocated in 1969 to its current site adjacent to Goose Creek Bridge due to safety concerns[1].

The club offers various membership levels, including Family, Associate, Junior, and Senior, with corresponding annual dues.
