The mission of MDTMB is to change the trajectory of the lives of underserved young people in the metropolitan Atlanta area and beyond. Our name indicates our mission: to ensure all individuals we serve can and will proudly say “My Daddy Taught Me Better!” We give youth the tools to make good decisions when having to choose between right and wrong. We show youth and young adults the multitude of possibilities that exist for them to accomplish Our goal is to disrupt and correct the social conditioning that is happening with some in this population. We will do this through serving within our 4 programmatic focus areas: 1. Youth Development and Coaching 2. Supplemental Educational Support 3. Community Engagement 4. Mental Health Services and Referrals
