Forever Friends Canine Rescue, Inc.
Mission StatementThe Forever Friends Canine Rescue provides care, comfort and compassion to abandoned, orphaned and relinquished dogs in danger of being euthanized with the vigilant placement through teaching, training and thoughtful consideration of finding every dog lover their perfect forever friend. Past, Present and Planned ActivitiesThe Forever Friends Canine Rescue, Inc., is an Idaho nonprofit corporation that was organized to facilitate the housing, care and rehabilitation of animals in local and surrounding shelters and for related charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. The organization was created to help coordinate a network of canine rescue volunteers and foster families to provide necessary care and support to the animals rescued, while also helping them find their forever homes. This mission will be carried out by developing current and future relationships with potential fosters, volunteers, donors, business partners and local/regional shelters within the United States of America. Working primarily with local Idaho shelters, Forever Friends Canine Rescue, Inc. plans to rescue animals, particularly canines at first, in cases where they would otherwise be euthanized because of limited space and resources helping to achieve the goal of being a no-kill state. In addition, we will accept animals relinquished by the general public that are otherwise in danger of being abandoned or euthanized. Each dog rescued will be provided all required vaccinations and will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption in order to promote the importance of such procedures to the community. In addition, through the assistance of acceptable veterinarians, Forever Friends Canine Rescue, Inc. will aid in providing the necessary care and attention required to help these dogs be more adoptable to the general public. With each adoption, we plan to take the extra initiative and not only pre-screen our potential adopters, but also educate them it what it means to be a pet owner. This includes the potential costs, training and rewards that come with being a loyal companion. In addition, we will inform each adopter of their dog's individual needs, such as potential exercise requirements, food restrictions, etc. Throughout our community, we plan to educate on the importance of spaying or neutering their animals, helping people properly care for their pets, and assist those individuals in need of a loyal forever friend. When applicable, we also plan to work with fellow nonprofit groups to help with their causes with the free adoption of an animal to help a family during a time of crisis, or assist a military victim overcome their injuries. Together we feel we can make our community a better place for both humans and animals alike.
