The Carrier Pigeon Post bringing humanity and the humanities into prisons THE PERIODICAL THAT PROVIDES HOPE THROUGH STORY AND EDUCATION Stories are not just entertainment. For some they are a lifeline to hope. In our experience working in prison reentry we learned just how much reading materials sent into prisons meant to those confined in prisons. They were a lifeline to hope the reminder that others cared the spark for intellectual curiosity and fostered goodness in the most desolate of places.
