We fund cutting-edge scientific research across multiple Branches and Centers to better understand cancer and eliminate the suffering caused by the disease. We are a global community of leading scientists pursuing innovative ways to prevent and control cancer. The Trust holds 49 of the 50 outstanding shares of the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, a Swiss nonprofit medical research organization recognized by the IRS as exempt from U.S. income tax under sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code

Ludwig Cancer Research At every step of the research process from the lab to the clinic we are pursuing innovative ways to prevent and control cancer. An AIpowered pipeline for personalized cancer vaccines Ludwig Cancer Research scientists have developed a full starttofinish computational pipeline that integrates multiple molecular and genetic analyses of tumors and the specific molecular targets of T cells and harnesses artificial intelligence algorithms to use its output to design personalized cancer vaccines for patients.
