VYCC programs operate year-round, throughout Vermont and beyond. We believe that every person, regardless of background, has the ability to work hard, make meaningful contributions to a group, and take responsibility for themselves. We believe youth need opportunities to connect with and appreciate the natural world. We believe that conservation and agricultural work are ideal platforms to teach leadership, interpersonal, and professional skills.

Home - Vermont Youth Conservation Corps Roll up your sleeves. Vermont Youth Conservation Corps has been cultivating leaders since 1985. Our programs offer paid outdoor service experiences for people ages 15 and up. Corps Members build skills in conservation agriculture and leadership while improving the health of Vermonts water forests working lands and outdoor recreation infrastructure.
