Honoring the service and sacrifice of ALL who answer our nation's call; linktr.ee/eyesoffreedom Our nonprofit honors those who answer our nation's call, both those who have died and those who have returned home, many with traumatic brain injuries and post-traumatic stress. We do these things through a nationally traveling Memorial comprised of life-sized paintings of the 21 members of Lima Company, an Ohio-based Marine reserve unit, and two associated Navy Corpsmen, all of whom died in Iraq in 2005. Soon a life-sized bronze sculpture, The Silent Battle, that depicts a service member grieving the loss of his buddies will be added. This Memorial has now (April 2017) visited 27 states and has been seen by over one million visitors. Testimonials indicates that it has a healing effect on many of those who see it, and, with the addition of The Silent Battle, it will speak to the needs of traumatized returning vets and their families as well as remembering those who made and continue to make the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

A traveling memorial dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of all who answer our Nations call Testimonials So much shame guilt sadness anger and regret were laid on those shoulders. From someone who understands the battle and has lost someone to the invisible wounds of war I feel that every single veteran needs to experience this tribute. It was a safe place to engage in something that many are experiencing but no one wants to talk about. Interacting with other Veterans fighting the The Silent Battle was every bit as impactful as experiencing the bronze sculpture itself.
