SONUS is a collective of international artists and seekers of beauty dedicated to the sharing, study Sonus International Music Festival is a non-profit organization devoted to fostering the performance, creation, and dissemination of classical music and other creative endeavors inspired by folk traditions from Argentina and the Americas. Our mission is to promote unity through diversity. SONUS produces multi-day virtual festivals starring international musicians and artists. These music festivals are also tools for education. They feature presentations and interviews with performers, researchers, and expert professionals from music-related fields. Besides the festivals, SONUS activities include the biennial SONUS’s International “Carlos Guastavino” Composition Competition. Launched in 2021, the competition promotes the creation of new works rooted in ancestral folk traditions.
