Both are absolutely fab and as cute as it gets! Millie’s a bit more on the shy side with other dogs, while Hank is an absolute rockstar! Both are hoping for adoring families who will go the extra mile to set them up for success - from love to training to socialization! Millie is meeting a potential adopter Friday! Vida, whom we pulled from the Oakland shelter!!! “Vida” means life - she gave life to her puppies who were all adopted from Oakland shelter and now it’s her turn for a fresh start. She most likely did not experience much kindness. She is learning that there are humans whose hand is for love and affection, not harm. Living indoors as a family pet is what is in her future and it’s OK to relax and enjoy the good life. She is looking for a home with a friendly, fun dog as dogs are her confidence and her everything. She is also looking for adopters who want to continue to build her confidence and assure her she is worthy of a committed home that will show her all the compassion she deserves. Her foster home has two dogs that are currently helping her, as well as the humans. She may have been used for breeding but those days are long gone! And we are here to help her forget about the past and focus on her bright future.
