Public education should serve all students, but bills like the Ten Commandments Bill (SB 10) threaten the freedom, inclusivity, and support that our schools are designed to provide.  These measures distract from the real challenges our schools face—underfunding, teacher shortages, student mental health crises, and more—and instead push policies that politicize our classrooms and threaten students’ rights.
