I began this foundation because I found the horrid filled path my son Tommy Jones lead me through to be a very lonely, frightening and deadly experience. At the time, there was little information and help available for me in how to help my son deal with a terrible opiate addiction. Consequently, my purpose here is to help others by alerting them to the severe dangers of substance abuse. In addition, there are myriad governmental, school, community and business changes we could make that would help dramatically improve the manner in which we attack substance abuse.
