The purpose of the South Texas Alliance of Career Champions STACC is to impact economic and workforce development among students of colleges and universities in Texas by creating equitable access to career opportunities through Indepth educational and experiential learning events such as workshops conferences lectures seminars andor similar activities Strengthening the relationships andor building alliances between STACC and other economic or workforce development organizations Promoting awareness of career pathways for students across a wide spectrum of various experiential learning activities and Providing avenues for the active exchange of ideas experience and opportunities for career development among educators employers andor students. The scope of the organization will cover the territory from San Antonio south to the Rio Grande Valley including the Texas cities of Corpus Christi and Kingsville west to Del Rio and El Paso and north to San Marcos Seguin and Kerrville. The focus of STACC will be to contribute towards minimizing andor eliminating underemployment in these economic areas.
