The mission of Public Health Acupuncture of New Mexico is to promote the use of acupuncture to improve the health of people, to reduce health disparities, and to develop a public health acupuncture and acutherapy practitioner workforce for New Mexico.We achieve this by:1. Promoting the use of acupuncture and acutherapy for public health applications2. Providing support in starting up acupuncture and acutherapy programs for addictions and post-disaster.3. Training practitioners4. Evaluating programs and communicating outcome results5. Responding to man-made and natural disasters by volunteers of the NM Integrative Wellness Medical Reserve Corps.

Public Health Acupuncture New Mexico Public Health Acupuncture of New Mexico Who We Are Public Health Acupuncture of New Mexico is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to making acupuncture accessible primarily in New Mexico and by example throughout the world. Our activities include ear acupuncture for addictions acudetox programs acudetox trainings continuing education in public health topics for acupuncturists a NM Medical Reserve Corps and research. ACUDETOX ACUPUNCTURE FOR ADDICTIONS A simple five needle protocol can help with the symptoms of withdrawal and lessen cravings as part of a holistic detox program.
