In a Zambian village you will hear children and adults alike using the word Chisuma to say thank you for any gift or service received. We chose the name Chisuma for our organization be cause we are both thankful for the opportunity to impact the lives of others around the world and because we know how thankful the people we serve are for opportunities to improve their lives through our work. Chisuma is a 501c3 organization dedicated to the purpose of providing opportunities for our supporters to be actively involved in bettering the lives health and economic opportunities of impoverished people in developing countries around the world.
