Valley Interfaith Action
To address the quality of life (economic, social and educational) issues for all residents of the Matanuska-Susitna Borough community, utilizing the faith values of the members of the Corporation, developing community-wide interest and mobilization around alleviating issues such as poverty, crime, racism, prejudice and discrimination. VIA's seeks to train people to be aware of community problems, to provide forums for discussion of such problems, to research alternatives for solving such problems, and to work as facilitators with community residents and leaders to cause specific, institutional and social change.
