We recently joined forces with 100+ supportive housing advocates for The Supportive Housing Network of New York's City Council Lobby Day to urge the Council to take action on: 🏠 Funding for the investment in additional congregate housing units and preservation of existing legacy supportive housing units 🏠 Addition of peers to the city’s B-HEARD mental health crisis response team 🏠 Ensure justice-involved individuals have access to housing by investing in the Justice Involved Supportive Housing (JISH) program 🏠 Supporting the financial health of nonprofits, like us, by requiring city agencies to reimburse organizations for interest due to late contract payments Thank you to Council Member Crystal Hudson, Council Member Sandy Nurse, and Council Member Lynn Schulman and your staffs for speaking with us and being true advocates of supportive housing!
