We fulfill this mission by: Operating active museum programs, Gathering objects and recorded historical information about places, events and people of the region, Developing interpretive exhibits, Assisting the public to assure accessibility and answer inquiries, Providing interactive, educational programs, Managing museum collections while insuring preservation and protection, and Coordinating all resources including fostering community partnerships.

Yates County History Center Standing proudly on Main Street in Penn Yan is the anchor building of the Yates County History Center the Oliver House Museum one of four buildings comprising the YCHC.
