HACF stands for standard of care, education, Habib Alrahman Charity Foundation (HACF) main mission is to help patients with kidney (renal) problems in Sudan. Kidney problems are very common in Sudan and the overall kidney care is sub optimal for reasons including financial constraints and the health care system. There are at least 6k patients with end stage renal disease (ESRD) requiring dialysis to survive. To practically help some patients, HACF is currently building a kidney center in Sudan to be completed through 3 phases depending. Phase (I) will accommodate 30 dialysis chairs and can provide care to 275 ESRD patients. Phase (II) will accommodate 60-100 dialysis chairs and can provide care to 550-925 patients with AKI and ESRD. Phase (III) will be a specialized medical center for kidney diseases and transplantation.
