Today, our mission remains the same as we have amplified our life-saving work in order to serve communities and 75 million patients and 500 hospitals in the Tri-State area (NY, NJ, CT), Mid-Atlantic area (PA, DE, MD, VA), Missouri, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Rhode Island, and Southern New England.

It’s official. Governor Kathy Hochul has proclaimed September 4, 2025, as New York Blood Donation Day. This proclamation builds on National Blood Donation Day and shines a spotlight on the critical need for blood donors year-round and honors the lifesaving work of donors, volunteers, and blood center staff across our state.
