THE PRODUCERS GUILD OF AMERICA FOUNDATION'S PURPOSES ARE TO: (A) CONTRIBUTE TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS AND (B) ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE IN ALL FORMS OF MEDIA: (I) EXCELLENCE IN PRODUCING IN THE FIELD OF ENTERTAINMENT; (II) EDUCATION OF PRODUCERS IN THE FIELD OF ENTERTAINMENT; (III) FORUMS IN THE FIELD OF ENTERTAINMENT; AND (IV) ANY OTHER PERMITTED PURPOSE WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE. AMONG THE FOUNDATION'S MAJOR INITIATIVES ARE: SUSTAINABILITY (INCLUDING THE GREEN PRODUCTION GUIDE), THE INDEPENDENT PRODUCTION SAFETY INITIATIVE, AND SUPPORT FOR EMERGING PRODUCERS THROUGH THE DEBRA HILL FELLOWSHIP AND VARIOUS DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION INITIATIVES.
