We’re proud to announce the newest additions to our fleet. Spring Hill now has 11 ambulances and 6 fly cars. As our call volume continues to grow, so does our commitment to delivering rapid, high quality care. With the continued support of our ALS program and Special Operations Unit, these new vehicles will help us respond more efficiently to the needs of our community. In just the last 24 hours, our members have responded to over 40 calls, including: • Pedestrian struck • Motor vehicle accidents • Severe traumas • DOA • Imminent pregnancy • Respiratory issues • Cardiac issues • Assaults We extend our deepest thanks to our dedicated members who come out at all hours of the day and night to help others. At approximately 1:25 AM, Spring Hill Ambulance along with Rockland Paramedics, Hillcrest Fire Department and Ramapo Police Department were dispatched to NYS Route 45 for a reported motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Upon arrival, crews found a single vehicle that had left the roadway and struck a tree. One patient was heavily trapped inside the vehicle. Hillcrest Fire Department successfully extricated the patient and Spring Hill units administered emergency care. Spring Hill responded with two ambulances and a line officer. Two patients were transported to local hospitals along with Rockland paramedics. Thank you to Hillcrest Fire Department and Ramapo PD for the quick and professional response.
