Happy International Women's Day!!! Women hold a very special place in our hearts here at Right Beginnings. Right Beginnings has been operating the Jobs for Women Program (JFWP) for victims of domestic violence on site from a single emergency shelter for District of Columbia residents since 2019. In an effort to expand our reach and provide our services outside of the DC area, Right Beginnings is developing an online version of the Program called the Virtual Jobs for Women Program (VJWP). Once fully implemented the goal of the VJWP is to provide job training, on the job experience, access to training videos designed and developed by Right Beginnings and assistance in qualifying for locating and securing self-sustaining employment. Our goal is to also partner with organizations and individuals that can provide online one-on-one counseling in numerous areas such as family, mental health, financial and more. We will begin implementing the expanded Virtual Program this year.
